Osnovna škola "Lučac" Split

On 19th March 2018 our class (6a) went to visit Diocletian's Palace with our classmistress, Mrs Tomić and our English teacher, Mrs Koceić. It was a guided tour. Our guide was Mrs Ana, Nina's mum. She is a tourist guide in Split.

Firstly, we looked at the map of Diocletian's Palace in the past. There were 16 towers originally, but there are only 3 of them left.Then we saw the model of Diocletian's Palace and the model of Split. After that we walked through Diocletian's basement which is made of nice white stone from Brač. Next, we climbed upstairs and came in front of the bell tower of St. Duje, patron saint of Split. We went in and listened to our nice guide. She told us many interesting information about our hometown.

The most interesting thing about this visit was that we communicated with our guide in English. So, we learned about Split and English at the same time.We all enjoyed the sightseeing very much and we hope we will repeat it again.

ŠETNJA PO DIOKLECIJANOVOJ PALAČI

19. 3. 2018. 6.a razred  išao je razgledavati svoj grad s učiteljicom Engleskog jezika Ninom Koceić i razrednicom Jelenom Tomić. Uz vodstvo gđe Ane, mame učenice Nine Bulaje, koja je turistički vodič, obišli smo Dioklecijanove podrume, katedralu Svetog Duje te proučili mapu i maketu grada koje se nalaze na Rivi. Najzanimljivije od svega bilo je to što su učenici s vodičem komunicirali na engleskom jeziku pa su istovremeno učili strani jezik i saznavali više o svome gradu. Svima se to dopalo pa učenici jedva čekaju nešto slično ponoviti.
